Reports .. Real Madrid reached an agreement to include Halland

Speculation continues about the fate of Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, the Borussia Dortmund player, amid great interest in signing him during the current summer transfers.

The player has been linked a lot with the move to many major clubs, but it seems that Real Madrid is considered the most fortunate in sealing the deal.

Will Haaland move to Real Madrid?

Italian press reports through “La Repubblica” revealed Real’s agreement to include the Norwegian striker this summer.

She explained that despite the assurances about the Spanish club’s desire to include French striker Kilian Mbappe as a priority, Haaland is the one who is at the forefront of the scene now, as everything has been agreed with the player, but an agreement must be reached with his club about the value of the deal.

The newspaper pointed out that Real made an offer worth 110 million euros, but it is much less than the amount requested from Dortmund, which amounts to 175 million.

Why may Real not succumb to the demands of Dortmund?

The German club is in trouble this summer, because it wants to give up the player for a high price because of his technical value and his young age.

At the same time, the club is afraid to wait for the player next summer, as he is entitled to move to any team for 75 million euros, according to one of the terms in his contract.

Which may prompt Dortmund to try to reduce the required amount, so as not to lose about 30 million euros if Haaland does not sell this summer.

What did Halland do with Dortmund last season?

The player, who was linked with the move to Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, made an impressive appearance with Dortmund last season.

The 20-year-old scored 41 goals with Dortmund and assisted 12 in 41 games he played in all competitions in the 2020/2021 season.
