A source close to Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Al-Ahly’s star, revealed that the player will be ready to participate in his team’s match against Esperance of Tunisia on June 19 at the Olympic Stadium in Rades, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, especially after the intensive qualification program that the player underwent throughout the period past.

The source said that Afsha He is keen to engage in rehabilitative exercises in the gym twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, in order to be ready to participate in the Esperance match in Tunisia, where the player’s ankle pain subsided and the player removed the ligament that he was wearing around the ankle due to the pain of the injury.

Afsha suffered a traumatic injury to the inner ligament of the ankle, after he twisted his foot during his team’s match against the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance in the African Super, which Al-Ahly crowned after winning two clean goals.

The source stressed that Afsha is not complaining of any pain at the present time and performs gym and swimming exercises normally, and he will be fully ready to participate in the Esperance match in Tunisia, as well as regularly in his team’s team training after traveling to Tunisia.
