A judicial source in the Egyptian Prosecution confirmed that the seizure of the artist’s money, Mohamed Ramadan, has no jurisdiction over the Public Prosecution, and that the reservation order is related to the implementation of a judicial ruling.
Informed sources revealed the details of the reservation on the artist’s money, Mohamed Ramadan, in a bank, stressing that the main reason for the reservation of the money is the ruling against him to pay 6 million pounds as compensation to the family of the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr.
The sources confirmed, that the decision to reserve the funds is a judicial decision based on the ruling issued by the Economic Court against the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, in the case in which the late pilot demanded material compensation for the losses he and his family suffered, due to the artist’s publication of a video clip of him inside his plane cabin. It caused him to be fired from his job permanently.
The artist, Mohamed Ramadan, had said that his money was kept in a famous bank in Cairo.
And Muhammad Ramadan published a video, in which he announced the state’s reservation of his money.
