The Minister of Youth and Sports and Zidane praise the Madinaty Marathon

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi praised the good organization of the Talaat Moustafa Group for the Madinaty Marathon and the availability of green spaces in Madinaty, which encourages young people and all ages to run the marathon, which was held under the technical supervision of the Egyptian Athletics Federation. He pointed out that organizing the marathon comes within the framework of the fruitful and continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Talaat Mustafa Group in supporting sports.

A number of sports stars participated in the Madinaty Running Marathon, which was held this Friday morning, with the participation of more than 1,200 contestants, including Omar Hisham Talaat, CEO of Business Development at Talaat Moustafa Group, and foreigners of 15 nationalities residing in Egypt. Celebrities were keen to participate in the wonderful organization of the Madinaty Marathon, in cooperation with the Tri-Factory Company, and encouraged young people to exercise.

Mohamed Zidan, the star of the Egyptian national football team, said: “The Madinaty Running Marathon is an honorable sporting event for Egypt, in light of its wonderful level of organization and the availability of all capabilities from the organizers,” adding: “I am always keen to participate in any sporting event that encourages exercise, So I was very happy to see children, young people, the elderly and women participating in this event.”

Talaat Moustafa Group was keen to allocate wide roads for the contestants in the Madinaty Marathon, and identified running tracks among vast green areas overlooking the lakes, as well as providing the necessary insurance for the contestants and all participants in the marathon, while applying all precautionary measures of disinfection, sterilization and spacing to prevent the Corona virus.

The Madinaty Marathon, which is being organized in partnership with Tri Factory, included 3 types of races; 5km run, 10km run, and 21km run, for marathons of all ages and fitness levels.
