The accident occurred between the families of Al-Saadiya and Al-Awamer in the village of Abu Hizam, which is affiliated to the Nagaa Hammadi district in Qena governorate.
And local media reported that the battle erupted yesterday morning, Wednesday, after a person was killed from a gunshot wound in a previous quarrel. women and children.

Major General Muhammad Abul-Majd, Director of Qena Security, visited Nagaa Hammadi Police Station to find out the circumstances of the accident. Police forces were deployed, which imposed a security cordon around the village, and around the homes of members of the two families to prevent renewed clashes, and notified the Public Prosecution Office, which authorized the burial of the bodies and took over the investigation.
The security forces combed the village of Abu Hizam and the agricultural areas and the surrounding mountains, and on Wednesday evening, they were able to arrest 15 people accused of participating in the crime and two weapons.
The phenomenon of revenge is common in Upper Egypt due to tribal customs and traditions, although it has declined in recent years.
