The Media Center of the Council of Ministers contacted the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and the Egyptian Medicines Authority, and these news were denied, and they confirmed that there is no truth to the use of globally banned antibiotics in poultry farms in Egypt, and they stressed that all veterinary medicines, including antibiotics, whether local or imported, The products used in the treatment of poultry are healthy, safe, and conform to international health specifications and standards. They are not circulated until after they are evaluated and licensed by the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Products, and analyzed in the laboratories of the Egyptian Medicines Authority. They referred to the launch of comprehensive periodic control campaigns on veterinary drug sales and circulation centers to ensure their compliance with specifications, as well as On various farms to examine poultry, taking all legal measures against violators.
