Al-Talai takes advantage of a gap in the contractors’ defense and achieves a fatal victory


Talaa El-Gaish defeated the Arab Contractors 1-0 in the match that was held today, Sunday, in the 28th round of the Egyptian WE League at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar.

Talaa Al-Jaish raised its score to 37 points in sixth place in the ranking table, while the Arab Contractors remained in 14th place with 29 points.

Karim Mostafa almost advanced to the Arab Contractors in the 34th minute of the match after Ahmed Daouda got rid of censorship and played a medium-high cross from the left side to be well received by his colleague coming from behind, but he hit it in the middle of the goal, easy for Mohamed Bassam.

Amr Gamal responded in the 39th minute after he got a wonderful pass that put him in the face of the match and hit the ball towards the far corner, but Hassan Shaheen, the Arab Contractors goalkeeper, managed to turn the ball into a corner kick.

The closest opportunity to the goal came in the 45+1 minute of the match through Amr Gamal, who received a ball on the chest and then shot it towards the goal, but Ahmed El-Shimy, defender of the Arab Contractors, kept it away after it bypassed the goalkeeper Hassan Shaheen.

The Arab Contractors came close to scoring in the 80th minute, after Mohammed Majali played a cross from inside the penalty area at the head of Hassan Al-Shami, who received it well and hit it, but the post blocked it.

Nasser Mansi, the player of Talaa El-Jaish, was able to take advantage of Wassim Naghmouchi’s mistake, which was pressed by Mustafa Gamal, and played the ball to his colleague, who accepted the gift well and put the ball into the net with a ground shot from outside the penalty area.
