Anger in Egypt over the demolition of Rajaa Al-Jeddawi’s cemetery


The pioneers of social networking sites transmitted pictures of the tomb of the artist, Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, whose part was demolished due to the construction of the bridge of the new Egyptian Museum of Civilization.A source in Cairo Governorate denied, in exclusive statements, what was circulated on some news sites about the demolition of part of the tomb of the late artist, Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, stressing that the information circulated is completely incorrect, according to (Russia Today).

The source added, “The governorate did not demolish any part of the tomb of the late artist Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, in order to build a bridge, noting that in the past, expansion works were carried out for a street near the tombs, but no part of the cemetery was demolished.”

Yesterday, Monday, was the first anniversary of the death of the able artist, Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, who left our world on July 5, 2020, after her suffering with the Corona virus.
