English press reports revealed the ambiguity of the future of the duo, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, the wings of the Liverpool team, after the English giant entered into serious negotiations with Juventus, in order to sign Federico Chiesa, the star of the team.
And according to the English newspaper, “Mirror”, Liverpool’s offer to include Chiesa, even if it was rejected, raises speculation strongly about the future of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Chiesa helped Italy win Euro 2020 this summer, scoring two goals and making all seven appearances after a promising first season at Turin Castle.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano described the 23-year-old as “untouchable at Juventus, amid strong interest from Chelsea and Bayern Munich.”
Despite Juventus’ strong adherence to the player, this did not prevent Liverpool from making an official offer to Juventus to sign him for 100 million euros.
The newspaper pointed out that although Salah is indispensable at “Anfield”, the way the Azzurri star plays is very similar to the Egyptian, and the Juventus star can play in the place of Sadio Mane.
There has been speculation that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah could leave this summer if the price is right, with his current contract expiring in 2022.
