The Saudi newspaper Al-Youm reported that Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, the Egyptian national team player, is close to joining the Saudi Al-Ahly team during the summer transfer period.

The Saudi newspaper pointed out that Al-Mohammadi has a Qatari offer and an Emirati offer, but he prefers the Saudi Al-Ahly offer after communicating with its president, Majid Al-Nafie.

The former Enppi player became free to move to any team after his contract with Aston Villa expired at the end of last season.

The report indicated that Al-Ahly’s negotiations with Al-Mohammadi came on the recommendation of the team’s coach, Bisnik Hasi, who wants to strengthen the team’s right front before the new season competitions.
