Zamalek defeated Abha with two goals to one at the sub-pitch of the Burj Al Arab Stadium, in a friendly match.
Ashraf Bencharki and Marwan Hamdi scored Zamalek’s goal, while Saleh Al-Omari scored Abhas only goal.
Zamalek started the meeting with the formation of the following:
Guard: Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Jansh”.
Defense: Mohamed Abdel Shafi – Mahmoud Alaa – Mohammed Abdel Ghani – Hamza Mathlouthi.
Middle: Tarek Hamed – Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
In front of them: Islam Jaber – Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” – Ashraf Bencharki.
Attack: Seif Al-Din Al-Jaziri.
Zamalek scored the first goal in the 36th minute. A cross from Hamza Mathlouthi and turned around by Bencharki with a header in the goal.
With the beginning of the second half, Patrice Carteron pushed Muhammad Abu Jabal instead of Jensh, and Ayman Hefny instead of Islam Jaber.
The players of Zamalek dominated the course of the meeting, and the technical staff of Al-Abyad pushed Mohamed Hamdi, Hossam Abdel Majid, Ahmed Eid, Ahmed Zaki, Mohamed Ashraf “Ruqa”, Youssef Ibrahim “Obama”, Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, Marwan Hamdi and Hamid Haddad, instead of Mahmoud Alaa, and Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, Mohamed Abdel-Shafi, Hamza Al-Mathlouthi, Tariq Hamed, Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Ashraf “Bancharki” and Seif Al-Din Al-Jaziri.
In the 65th minute, Marwan Hamdi scored the second goal for Zamalek with a powerful shot that hit the net, before Saleh Al-Omari managed to reduce the difference and scored the first goal for Abha in the 69th minute of the match.
Zamalek is preparing to face Ghazl El-Mahalla at a time to be determined later with the announcement of the league schedule.
