Tunisian swimmer and Olympic champion Ahmed Ayoub El Hefnaoui has given the swimming jacket he wore during his Olympic gold medal victory to the International Olympic Committee for inclusion in the Olympic Museum in Switzerland.

Al-Hefnawi, 18, won a few days ago the gold medal for the 400-meter freestyle race at the current Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020).

This is the first time that the International Olympic Committee has asked any Tunisian athlete the uniform that they win an Olympic medal for placement in the Olympic Museum.

The swimming jacket was handed over to the officials of the International Olympic Committee during a simple ceremony held in the swimming pool in which El Hefnawy won the gold medal, in the presence of some officials of the International Swimming Federation (FINA).
