Cairo – Masrawy:
The struggle for the top spot in the league erupted after Al-Ahly drew 1-1 during the match that brought it together this evening, Thursday, against its counterpart Al-Ahly Bank.
Al-Ahly raised its score after this tie to 52 points in second place, 9 points behind the leaders Zamalek, but it played 3 games more than the Red Castle.
Al-Ahly has 3 matches left in the league championship to equal the number of matches played by the leaders Zamalek; He will meet with his military production counterpart on July 25, before meeting with his counterpart Aswan on the 29th of the same month, and then with his counterpart Wadi Degla on August 2.
And if Al-Ahly wins the remaining three matches, it will be equal in points with its counterpart Zamalek with 61 points, but direct confrontations favor it in taking the lead in the league.
