The Tunisian Labor Union demanded, on Monday, constitutional guarantees in addition to the measures taken by Tunisian President Kais Saied on Sunday, which ruled Freezing the work and competencies of Parliament and lifting the immunity of all its members, and the dismissal of Prime Minister Hisham Al-Mashishi, andAssuming the executive power and the presidency of the Public Prosecution.

The union added: “We want to restore stability to the country and return to construction, and we reject any resort to violence by any party.”
He added, “The judiciary’s measures must be reviewed to ensure its independence, while saluting the peaceful social and popular movements.”
The Tunisian Labor Confederation said: “We must set a period for the exceptional measures and expedite their termination,” adding: “The crisis in which the country occurred, we have previously warned about more than once.”
The Tunisian Labor Union added: “It is time to end the era that put the country on a tin of fire,” stressing that “a clear road map must be drawn up to dispel fears.”
