The website of the government newspaper “Al-Gomhouria” in Egypt published pictures showing the tomb of the artist Rajaa Al-Jeddawi to be partially demolished due to the construction of the new Egyptian Museum of Civilization bridge.
A source in Cairo Governorate, in exclusive statements to “Akhbar Al-Youm Gate”, denied what was circulated on some news sites about the demolition of part of the tomb of the late artist Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, stressing that the information circulated is completely incorrect.
The source added, that the governorate did not demolish any part of the tomb of the late artist Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, in order to build a bridge, noting that in the past, expansion works were carried out for a street near the tombs, but no part of the cemetery was demolished.
Yesterday, Monday, was the first anniversary of the death of the able artist, Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, who left our world on July 5, 2020, after suffering from the Corona virus.
