Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold described his colleague, Mohamed Salah, as an “outstanding athlete”.
“Cade Gordon (youth team player) will look to Mohamed Salah and try to learn some things from him,” the English right-back said on The Athletic Network.
He explained, “Because Salah is an outstanding athlete and a wonderful person on and off the field, he takes good care of himself and dedicates his life to his profession and the game.”
Cade Gordon, 16, is a winger and joined the Reds last February from Derby County.
The left-handed player was present in the Reds’ friendly matches in preparation for the 2021-2022 season without participating with the team.
Salah scored in 4 seasons with the Reds 125 goals in 203 games, assisted 47 and crowned 4 titles.
Liverpool is preparing to open the English Premier League against Norwich City.
