Speaking of it, the German said he would bet on Salah if he had the chance.
“I don’t remember such things (which player is the best in the game), but 100% it’s not me,” Klopp said in his interview with Liverpool’s official website.
“I think he’s Salah most of the time, if I’m right, he played with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last year.”
He added, “You have to be lucky in the draw. If you play well and you get drawn with a member of the technical staff, you have no chance at all.”
He continued, “The boys are good at the game, the good thing about the tournament is that you support your teammate throughout the competition.”
Liverpool tied 1-1 against Wacker Innsbruck and Stuttgart in a friendly, then defeated Mainz with a goal and lost 4-3 against Hertha Berlin.
He will play his fifth pre-season game on Sunday (August 8th) against Athletic Bilbao.
Liverpool will start its campaign next season with its host Norwich City on August 14.
