According to trading data, as of 17:38 Moscow time, the price of futures contracts for the month of October rose to 600 dollars per thousand cubic meters, and this price is currently the highest during the trading session on Monday, while the price fluctuated during the day and fell to 588 dollars.

And last week, Maria Tsygankova of the financial market analysis company Refinitif stated in statements to the Russian “Novosti” agency, that among the factors of rising gas prices, the low level of its reserves in Northeastern European reservoirs, and the prevailing uncertainty about the launch of the “North Stream-2” project to pump Russian gas to Germany.
