Hegazy achieves a historic record with his participation with the Egyptian Olympic team against Brazil

Ahmed Hegazy, the defender of the Egyptian Olympic team, achieved a historical record by participating against Brazil in the quarter-finals of the “Tokyo 2020” Olympic Games.

Hegazy had played 4 matches with the Egyptian Olympic team in the London 2012 Olympic Games, when he participated in 3 matches in the group stage and then a match in the quarter-finals. He also participated in 3 matches during this Olympics in the group stage, before participating in a match Today against Brazil in the quarter-finals, becoming the most Egyptian player to play in the Olympics with 8 matches, equal with both Mohamed Badawy and Ali Al-Hassani.
