Historic win for Bochum, Dortmund loss and Wolfsburg tops

The Bochum team achieved its first victory in the German first division in ten years, and beat its guest Mainz 2-0 today, Saturday, in the second stage of the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund suffered its first loss of the season and fell to its host Freiburg 1/2.

Wolfsburg beat Hertha Berlin 2-1 to lead the Bundesliga.

In the rest of the matches, Greuther Furth tied 1-1 with Armenia Bielefeld and Eintracht Frankfurt with Augsburg 0-1.

Bochum returned to the Bundesliga for the first time since the 2010/2011 season and scored his first victory over Mainz.

Gerrit Holtmann scored a goal for Bochum in the 21st minute, then Sebastian Boltier added the second goal in the 56th minute.

Bochum scored its first three points to advance to seventh place, with a goal difference over ninth-placed Mainz.

At the Schwarzwald Stadion, Freiburg advanced with two goals, signed by Vincenzo Grifo and Ronald Salai in the sixth and 56th minutes, then Dortmund responded with an own goal by Yannick Kittel of Freiburg in the 57th minute.

Freiburg advanced to second place in the Bundesliga table with four points, and Dortmund’s balance stopped at three points in fifth place.

At the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Hertha advanced through Dodi Lukebakio from a penalty kick in the 60th minute.

Riedel Baku responded with a equalizer for Wolfsburg in the 74th minute, and Lukas Nemesha secured the victory two minutes before the end.

Wolfsburg won its second successive victory to top the table with six points, and Hertha remained at the bottom of the standings without points.
