Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, the team’s doctor, said that Sharif is participating in Al-Ahly’s training today, through a specific program, as part of his preparation for a full return to group training.
Abu Abla explained that Muhammad Sharif will undergo a medical examination tomorrow, Thursday, before the start of the training session, to determine the possibility of catching up and participating in the team’s next match against Al-Masry.
Sharif was absent from participating in Al-Ahly’s group training during the last period, due to his complaint about a slight strain in the back muscle.
Al-Ahly resumed its training this afternoon, Wednesday, at the Al-Touch Stadium on the island, without rest, in preparation for the next Al-Masry match in the Premier League, which is scheduled to be held next Friday.
Before the start of the training, Musimani was keen to talk with the players about the pros and cons that the team faced during the recent period, specifically the last Tala’a El-Jaish match, which ended in a goalless draw.
In his conversation with the players and the team’s technical staff, Musimani stressed the need to focus on the upcoming matches in the league, starting with the Al-Masry match next Friday night.
Today, Al-Ahly’s training witnessed the participation of Mahmoud Metwally, the defender of Al-Ahly team, in the group training, after recovering from dental pain, as he is ready and at the disposal of the technical staff, in preparation for the upcoming Al-Masry match.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Masry in the thirty-second round of the Egyptian Premier League, scheduled for 9:00 p.m., next Friday at Alexandria Stadium.
