In an interview with doctorpiter.ru, the specialist notes that there are various signs that indicate stomach cancer, including nausea and vomiting after eating, a feeling of a mass in the lower part of the esophagus, and a disturbance in the passage of food. “Also, changes in the sense of taste can occur,” he adds. And that stomach bleeding indicates a serious case of stomach cancer.
“If there are no obvious causes for sudden weight loss, such as poor diet and loss of appetite, it could be cancer,” he says. “Because weight loss is a sign of cancer, but not in the early stages.”
The specialist recommends screening for cancer after the age of forty-five, as a preliminary diagnosis.
