Moez wrote, through his personal account on the Instagram photo and video sharing site, “I am happy with the Arab premiere of the film Amira during the fifth edition of the El Gouna Film Festival.”
He added, “Once again, I congratulate the success partners, my friends, Mohamed Hefzy, Mohamed Diab, and all the work team. The film Amira, a touching human story about the life of a Palestinian girl, will premiere at the 78th Venice Film Festival, God willing.”
The film stars a group of Arab stars, most notably Saba Mubarak and Ali Suleiman, and the young actress Tara Abboud in her first cinematic role as Amira, Qais Nashef and Walid Zuaiter, and it is written by the trio Mohamed, Khaled and Sherine Diab.
