3 million dollars to broadcast Algeria matches in the World Cup qualifiers

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune signed a presidential decree that includes the creation of a special budget to cover the expenses of obtaining television broadcast rights for matches qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The decree No. 21-353, dated September 15 and published in Issue No. 71 of the Official Gazette, guarantees that Algerian state television will benefit from a sum of three million dollars, to purchase these rights.

Algeria leads the first group in the African qualifiers for the World Cup finals, with four points, ahead of Burkina Faso, who is second, and one point ahead of Niger, in third place, while Djibouti is at the bottom of the group without credit.

Algeria will play its guest, Niger, on the eighth of next October, before it is a guest on the 12th of the same month, in the third and fourth rounds of the group stage.
