Nelo Vingada, technical director of the Football Association, announced the appointment of Ossiano Cruz as assistant to the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, the new coach of the Egyptian national team in the next stage.
Queiroz agreed with the Football Association to bring in 3 foreign coaches to work with him in the national team, and they are his assistant, Ossiano Cruz, along with a load planner and a performance analyst.
In this report, we monitor 7 information about Ossiano Cruz, Queiroz’s first assistant in the Egyptian national team:
1- Ossiano Cruz, Portuguese, played for Real Sociedad from 1991 to 1994.
2 – Ossiano Cruz retired from football in 1999 at Toulouse, France.
3- Cruz went to work as a sports commentator before taking up coaching, through the Portugal U-21 youth team and Sporting Lisbon.
4- He played with the Portugal youth team 12 matches, winning 5 and losing the same, and drew in two matches.
