Books – Abdel Fattah Al-Ajmi:
The popular singer Ahmed Shaybah revealed that he did not get any profits from his songs that he presented, but rather he produced them at his expense, and he does not get any profit from them.
In the second part of his interview with the media, Mona Al-Shazly, on the “With You” program, on the cbc channel, “Shiba” confirmed that he was surprised by the resounding success of the song “Oh, if you play, O Zahr”, stressing that he gave it up to producer Mohamed Al-Sabki, and he did not earn a single pound from it. He said: “I didn’t take anything from it, I produced it at my expense, and he said we will put you in the movie, but you made a concession, so you gave up… it belongs to it.”
He continued: “I did not take profits from any song for me, I swear to God, I did not take anything from Muhammad Ramadan, I swear to God, all these songs did not take any pounds from them. Praise be to God, it is not all about money.”
Ahmed Shayba recently presented the song “I’m Not Fadhilikom”, written by the poet Reda Al-Masry, the composer Fares Al-Masry, and arranged by Taha Al-Hakim.
