The Catalan Channel Three reported that a large number of Barcelona board members demanded the dismissal of coach Ronald Koeman, following the loss to Bayern Munich (3-0) at the Camp Nou, in the Champions League.
The strange thing is that despite the bad relationship between the club’s president, Joan Laporta, and Koeman, and its tension in recent days, the Catalan president is still reluctant to take such a decision at the present time.
The reason is the lack of a reliable replacement coach in this difficult period, as Jordi Cruyff refuses to succeed Koeman, due to the personal relationship between them, and Xavi Hernandez would like to work from the beginning of the season.
As for Barcelona B coach, Serge Barguan, Laporta is not accepted by Laporta, who is currently unqualified for this position, and his payment will not be the same as the payment of Pep Guardiola in 2008.
This is in addition to another important thing, which is that in the event of Koeman’s dismissal, the current Barcelona administration will have to pay him a large sum for it, which is difficult given the critical economic situation at the Camp Nou.

Neither the Catalan Channel Three nor the Spanish newspaper “AS” has ruled out that the hypothesis of Koman’s dismissal will be raised again during the next few weeks with the first new stumble, so it will depend on the results of the upcoming matches.
Barcelona started its season well by winning two out of three matches in the Spanish League, but it surprised everyone with a very modest performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League after that.
Barcelona will face Granada, then Cadiz, and then Levante, in less than a week, in the La Liga competitions, after which Koeman’s battalion will travel to Portugal to meet Benfica.
