Carteron after renewing his contract: I preferred to continue with Zamalek over foreign offers

French coach Patrice Carteron, coach of the first football team at Zamalek, expressed his happiness at renewing his contract with the team for three seasons, and thanked Hussein Labib, head of the committee in charge of managing the club, for quickly solving the problems facing the team.

The coach added in exclusive statements to the official website of Zamalek, “I received many offers in the past period from foreign clubs, but I preferred to continue with Zamalek… and my ambitions are great with the team to achieve more championships in the coming period.”

Carteron also stressed that his meetings are continuing with Captain Hussein Labib, noting that the renewal negotiations were carried out with the desire of both parties, explaining that it did not take any time in light of his welcome to continue with Zamalek for a longer period.

The committee in charge of managing the white club announced today the renewal of the contract with the coach of the team, Cartieron, for the next three seasons, after the Frenchman won the Premier League championship with the team last season.

The committee seeks to impose a kind of technical stability on the team in the next stage to win more championships, especially since the club hopes to win the African Champions League in its next edition, and then qualify for the Club World Cup while retaining the Premier League trophy.

Carteron signed the renewal contract with the club in the presence of Captain Farouk Jaafar, football advisor, and Captain Hussein Al-Sayed, a member of the committee.
