Clubs Association officials revealed that the League has the right to change the format of the General League competition in the new season, in coordination with the Football Association, especially since the decision to change will be with the approval of the clubs, which is the General Assembly of the Premier League.

The officials of the Association of Clubs explained that the decision to change the form of the league will be the decision of the clubs, and after voting on it by the clubs as well, and therefore it will be difficult for the Football Association to reject the clubs desire to change the form of the league.

The officials of the Association continued that the Football Association itself had previously met with the clubs and offered to change the league’s format in the new season due to the large number of international links, so there is no conflict between the thought of the Association and the Jabalia.

Ahmed Mujahid, head of the committee that manages the Jabalia, spoke about the league’s shape, and said in televised statements yesterday: “The Club Association has the right to manage the league, but it does not have the right to change its form to two groups or any form other than the current one, as this is entirely the property of the Federation.”

Mujahid concluded: “Changing the format of the competition must happen through the federation, and we may hold a meeting with representatives of the 18 clubs, sponsoring companies, carrier channels and a representative of the Football Association, to study all marketing, technical and organizational matters.”
