FilGoal | News | 3 days after his discharge, Pele is back in intensive care again

Brazilian football legend Edson Arantes do Nascimento “Pele” was taken to intensive care on Friday.

ESPN Brasil reported that Pele was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo, for intensive care.

This comes just 3 days after Pele left the intensive care unit after undergoing surgery to remove a colon polyp.

Pele performed the surgery on September 6, and did not leave intensive care until last Tuesday.

Pele then published a thank you message through his Instagram account, in which he expressed his gratitude for all the messages of love and support he received during the last period.

Pele, 80, has suffered from health problems in recent years that prompted him to use a wheelchair to get around sometimes.

Pele is the player with the most World Cup title in history, winning it 3 times in 1958, 1962 and 1970.
