Al-Halawani said in statements toFilGoal.com: “I have three offers from the Egyptian League, and I will determine my fate within days.”
He added, “Ismaili, Ceramica Cleopatra, and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria spoke to me in order to join them. In a few days I will determine my fate.”
El-Halawany played last season with Aswan FC, which was relegated to the Egyptian Second Division.
The 36-year-old played 36 games last season. He scored 5 goals and assisted 12 others.
The next stop will be the fifth for Al-Halawani in the Egyptian league historically.
Al-Halawani started his career with Al-Ahly in 2006, before playing in the Greek league for 4 years, and returning to Egypt in 2010 through the Enppi portal.
After 9 years with the petroleum team, Halawani moved in 2019 to the border guards, and from there to Aswan last season.
