FilGoal | News | Klopp: Salah is a goal machine, no less than Lewandowski

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reiterated his praise of the icon, Mohamed Salah, the star of his team, when he was asked about the difference between the latter and Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich’s top scorer, crowned with the Golden Boot for the 2020-2021 season.

The Egyptian star continues to shine for the fifth consecutive season with Liverpool, becoming the fifth fastest player in history to score 100 goals in the English Premier League.

The German, who coached Lewandowski in Dortmund, said in a press statement: “Salah is at the same level as Lewandowski, without a doubt. He is a goal machine. He is a professional to the fullest. He does everything to be fit constantly. The first to arrive, the last to leave, all these things. This is goodness.”

“On top of that, apart from his skill, he always wants to score goals, which is what Lewandowski does. That’s a good and very helpful football player. No matter what you do on the field, you need someone to score goals. Salah is definitely among the best players I’ve seen. He knows that.” His numbers are insane. I am grateful to work with such great players.”

Salah has one goal left to reach 100 goals with Liverpool in the league.

The Egyptian star has become everyone’s talk in England since he wore the red shirt in 2017.

He was the top scorer in the English Premier League in the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons, and was named the best African player in 2017 and 2018.

He was crowned with Liverpool in the European Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup, and in 2020 the team regained the title of the League, which has been absent for 3 decades.

Liverpool will visit Brentford on Saturday in the sixth round of the Premier League.

Salah hopes to score to consolidate his lead in the tournament’s top scorer, which he currently shares with Bruno Fernandez and Mikael Antonio with 4 goals.
