Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman refused to comment on who will succeed him in coaching the team in the event of his dismissal.

Koeman said in the press conference before his team’s match against Levante: “Xavi or Roberto Martinez to coach Barcelona? I can’t comment on who will replace me. Of course I follow the reports and what is written, and the only thing we can do is achieve victories.”

“I have to put my energy into what I can control, and nothing else.”

He continued, “The president is the most important person in the club and can always speak and give his opinion, I don’t have a problem with that. What I have to do is just win matches.”

Koeman continued, “Since the beginning of the season, we have done many good things for Barcelona. Agreeing to leave the players was only for the good of the club.”

The Dutch coach continued, “Ansu Fati is back and will be in front of Levante. He will participate for 15 minutes at most, and it is important that he finally returned to us.”

He continued, “He missed a lot to return to as before. He has been away from the court for a long time and his injury cannot be recovered in just two weeks.”

Koeman explained, “If Fati is completely ready to play a full match in November, we will wait until November, and if he is ready before that, he will play.”

On his absence against Levante due to the expulsion, Koeman said, “I would like to be present, especially in difficult moments, as we need the three points.”

He concluded, “I will not complain because it is complicated. I did not agree with some things in the previous match, but I have to be more calm, I am human and some cases are sometimes difficult to accept.”

Ronald Koeman was sent off in front of Cadiz for objecting to the ruling.

Barcelona is preparing to face Levante tomorrow evening, Saturday, in the seventh round of the Spanish League. (See Barcelonas squad against Levante)
