Egypt will visit Gabon on Sunday in the second round of the second phase of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
It is a meeting in which Salah participates, after he missed the first round against Angola on Wednesday, in a meeting that the Pharaohs decided with the goal of Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” from a penalty kick.
Salah missed the meeting with Angola so as not to be forced to enter a quarantine upon his return to England, given that the latter requires those coming from Egypt to enter a 10-day quarantine.
It is a decision taken by the English Premier League so that clubs are not affected by the absence of their players when the championship resumes after the end of the current international break.
