Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, launched this morning a campaign to encourage citizens to register on the website to receive the anti-Coronavirus vaccine, and to assist them in the registration process and the speed of receiving the vaccine on the same day, under the slogan “Together we are reassured…register now”. In the presence of Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population.
During the Prime Minister’s inspection of the mobile bus equipped for this purpose, which will tour a number of governorates, the Minister of Health and Population confirmed that this campaign comes within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to expand the vaccination of citizens with anti-Coronavirus vaccines, noting that the campaign will be launched today in the governorates: Cairo , Giza and Alexandria, then toured the rest of the governorates, successively, and lasts for 10 days, from ten in the morning until ten in the evening.
Dr. Hala Zayed noted that 3 open and equipped buses have been allocated to each governorate, in addition to 6 additional cars that include qualified community communication teams to respond to citizens’ inquiries and questions and respond to their requests, and work to overcome any obstacles that hinder the completion of the vaccination process, pointing out that each bus includes 30 members of the highly trained community outreach teams wear customized uniforms and are equipped with “tablets” connected to the Internet to record citizens data on the website to receive the vaccine. The community outreach members will deliver a gift bag to each person who registers, including (cap, pen, Block Note, Flash, Mug, T-shirt)
The minister added that these teams are scheduled to tour various public places, squares, gathering places and in front of metro stations, and immediately after the registration process, the text message for the citizen to receive the vaccine will be sent to the nearest youth center within the centers designated for vaccination, noting that even those who registered in advance, and did not receive a statement Where to receive the vaccine, he will be informed of the nearest center where he can be vaccinated.
Regarding the campaign’s goals, the Minister of Health and Population indicated that it aims to reach the largest number of citizens to register their data and facilitate their access to vaccines as soon as possible, within the framework of the state’s plan to vaccinate 40% of the target groups by the end of this year, and the campaign also aims to raise awareness among citizens. The importance of vaccination to protect themselves, their families and society from the risk of infection with the Corona virus, in addition to working to change the attitudes of citizens who are reluctant to obtain vaccinations, and urging them to adopt positive behaviors by urging them to vaccinate.
The minister also noted the dates and itinerary of the campaign in the governorates, as it is scheduled to start today, Wednesday, and tomorrow in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria, then the campaign will move on Friday to the governorates of Qalyubia, Fayoum, and Dakahlia, then the campaign vehicles will roam the governorates of Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, and Sharqiya on Friday. Next Saturday, it is followed by the governorates of Gharbia, Minya, and Ismailia on Sunday, while it continues its work in the governorates of Damietta, Assiut, and Port Said on Monday, then spreads throughout the governorates of Menoufia and Suez on Tuesday, and moves to the governorates of Beheira and Sohag on Wednesday, to continue on Thursday, it will travel throughout Qena Governorate, and from there to Luxor on Friday, and it will conclude its activities on Saturday in Aswan Governorate.
The Prime Minister said during his inspection of the bus designated for the campaign: I hope that with all the efforts made to encourage citizens to register to receive the vaccine, that our people, especially with the increasing number of cases, are aware of the importance of obtaining the vaccination and the conviction that it contributes significantly either to avoiding infection with the virus or alleviating the severity of the virus. The injury, adding: I hope that there will be a great response from the citizens.
