Gold prices continued to decline in Egypt during trading today, Saturday, for the third day in a row, as the gram lost 10 pounds over 3 days.

Naguib, former Secretary of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold fell today to 770 pounds, compared to 774 pounds.

Najib added that the price of a gram of 18 karat gold recorded about 660 pounds, and the price of a gram of 24 karat about 880 pounds, and the price of the gold pound recorded about 6160 pounds.

Today and tomorrow, it is an official holiday in global stock exchanges.

Gold prices have witnessed a decline since the beginning of the month, as gold was trading at 792 pounds per gram, but it declined during the past three weeks by about 22 pounds, until today’s trading.
