The Ministry of Health and Population revealed the mechanism for implementing the campaign, as the campaign was launched today in the governorates of Cairo, Giza and Alexandria, then the rest of the governorates, respectively, and will continue for 10 days, from 10 am to 10 pm.
And she continued: 3 open and equipped buses have been allocated to each governorate, in addition to 6 additional cars that include qualified community communication teams to respond to citizens’ inquiries and questions, respond to their requests, and overcome any obstacles that hinder the completion of the vaccination process.
And she continued: Each bus includes 30 highly trained community communication teams in custom uniforms, and they are equipped with internet-connected “tablets” to register citizens data on the website to receive the vaccine.
And she continued: Once the registration process, the text message for the citizen to receive the vaccine arrives at the nearest youth center within the centers that have been designated for vaccination, and these teams roam various public places, squares, gathering places and in front of metro stations.
The campaign aims to reach the largest number of citizens to register their data and facilitate their access to vaccinations as soon as possible, within the framework of the state’s plan to vaccinate 40% of the target groups by the end of this year. To change the attitudes of citizens who are reluctant to obtain vaccinations and urge them to adopt positive behaviors by urging them to receive vaccinations.
Regarding the dates and itinerary of the campaign in the governorates, the Ministry of Health said today, Wednesday and Thursday, it will be in the governorates of (Cairo, Giza, Alexandria), Friday in (Qalyubia, Fayoum, Dakahlia), Saturday (Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, Sharqia) and Sunday (Gharbia, Minya, Ismailia). Monday (Damietta, Assiut, Port Said), Tuesday (Menoufia, Suez), Wednesday (Beheira, Sohag), Thursday (Qena), Friday (Luxor) and Saturday (Aswan).
