Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic still insists that the Ballon d’Or is missing a star like him, and that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have nothing more than titles.
Ibrahimovic said, in statements to the French magazine “France Football”: “Do you miss the Golden Ball? No, on the contrary, the Golden Ball is the one who misses me.”
And the “self-confident” striker added: “Messi and Ronaldo dominating the Ballon d’Or? If we talk about the essential quality, they have no more quality than me. If we take titles into account, then yes .. I did not win the Champions League.”

He continued, “I do not know the criteria they use to determine the winner of the Ballon d’Or, because I am not obsessed with it. When you work collectively, the individual inevitably benefits from this. One cannot perform well if the team is not solid.”
The Swedish striker concluded: “Inside me, I think I’m the best in the world.”
The Swede, who will turn 40 next month, is preparing to play his first match of the season against Lazio, after missing Euro 2020 due to a knee injury.
