Karim Shehata: Mostafa Mohamed refuses to return to Zamalek, despite Galatasaray’s welcome

The journalist Karim Shehata revealed that Mostafa Mohamed, the Zamalek striker, loaned to the Turkish Galatasaray ranks, refused to return to the team during the new season.

The recent period witnessed a tense relationship between Mustafa Muhammad and Fatih Tarim, the coach of the Galatasaray team, but the player insisted on staying in Turkey.

Karim Shehata said in statements on the “Koora Every Day” program, “Friendly contacts took place between Mustafa Mohamed and some mediators in the past few days in order to return to Zamalek again, but the matter was rejected by Mustafa Mohamed.”

For his part, Hazem Fattouh, French agent Patrice Carteron, coach of the first football team in Zamalek, confirmed that the latter was leaving the club again to the Emirati unit.

Hazem continued, “Carteron would have left Zamalek and paid the penalty clause of $150,000.”

He continued, “I traveled to the Emirates and spoiled the negotiations. Zamalek is a big team and it was unacceptable for the coach to leave in this way. I did not bring this offer to him, and it was his former agent who brought him.”
