Laila Koura source: Al-Ahly is preparing to amend Afsha, Shahat and Al-Shahat contracts

A source in Al-Ahly Club confirmed that the administration of the Red Castle is preparing to amend the contracts of the trio of the first team, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Aliou Diang and Hussein Al-Shahat.

Al-Ahly rejected the offers made to the trio during the last summer transfer period, as Afsha received a Gulf offer, and the transfer of Al-Shahat to the Saudi Al-Hazm ranks was rejected, and the same for Diang, who Al-Ahly refused to play among the Turkish Galatasaray ranks.

During exclusive statements by Laila Koura, the source – who declined to be named – said: “Al-Ahly is preparing to amend Afsha, Shahat and Diang’s contracts before the start of the new season and satisfy them financially.”

He added, “This decision came after the club rejected offers to join them in the current transfer period.”

And he concluded: “It is expected that Amir Tawfiq, director of the Contracting Committee in Al-Ahly Club, will hold a session with each player separately during the coming period to amend his contract according to the vision of the Planning Committee.”

It is worth noting that Al-Ahly is preparing to play a friendly match against Al-Ghaba this afternoon, in preparation for the matches of the 32nd round of the African Champions League against Gendarmere (the Niger champion) next October, in addition to the start of the new season of the Egyptian League 2021/2022.
