Khamis Adam, Vice President of the Libyan Football Association, confirmed that the time was not appropriate to change the technical staff of the Egyptian national team in the midst of the World Cup qualifiers.
In statements to “On Time Sports”, Adam said: “Time is very short, the new coach needs a longer period of time to start his work.”
The Egyptian Football Association sacked Hossam El-Badri and his assistant staff from training the Egyptian national team due to poor performance and a draw with Gabon in the World Cup qualifiers.
And the Vice-President of the Libyan Federation concluded: “We will provide all support to our team before facing Egypt, and we hope that the competition between Egypt and Libya will continue until the end.”
