The technical staff of the Egyptian national team, led by Queiroz, decided to include Mustafa Mohamed, the Turkish striker of Galatasaray, for the final list of the national team for the two matches of Libya in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be announced next Sunday.
Queiroz watched Egypt’s last match against Gabon, in which Mustafa Mohamed scored the equalizer in the last moments, and expressed his admiration for the player’s level and asked to be included in the final list of the Pharaohs.
The technical staff of the national team, led by Carlos Queiroz, set this September 26 as the date for announcing the names of the players selected to join the team’s next camp, in preparation for the Libyan team’s matches in the third and fourth rounds of the Sixth African Group for World Cup qualifiers.
It was also decided that the camp would start on September 28 so that the team could play a friendly match on September 30, and that the team would resume its camp on October 2 after resting on October 1, so that the camp would continue until the two matches in Libya.
The International Football Association decided to hold the match between Egypt and Libya in the third round of the sixth group of African qualifiers for the World Cup at nine in the evening on the 8th of next October, and decided to hold the match of the two teams in the fourth round in Benghazi at nine in the evening (the eighth in Libya) on the 11th of October.
The Egyptian Football Association had concluded its agreement with the Liberian Federation to hold a friendly match between the two countries teams on September 30, and set it at nine in the evening at the Army Stadium in Borg El Arab, which is also scheduled to witness the Libya match.
