Juventus announced today, Tuesday, the signing of Moise Kean on loan from Everton for a period of two years, to return the Italian striker to the club in which he started his professional career.
The Italian club said that it had reached an agreement to pay seven million euros in loan value, three million euros in the 2021-2022 season and another four million next season.
“The 21-year-old returns to the club, with which he not only took his first steps in his professional career, but also grew up in it as a boy and a player in the youth sector,” Al-Youfi added in a statement.
Kane, who rose from the youth sector of Juventus, made his first-team debut in 2016 when he was 16, becoming the youngest player to play for the club and the second youngest player to score a goal in Serie A.
Kane was the first player born after 2000 to score in Europe’s top five leagues, and made nine international appearances for Italy, spending last season on loan to Paris Saint-Germain.
Juventus’ contract with Kane came to replace last season’s top scorer in the Italian league, Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Manchester United.
