Mamdouh Eid, CEO of Pyramids Club, confirmed that there is no intention to dispense with Abdullah Al-Saeed, the captain of his team, during the current period.
Eid indicated, in statements during the press conference held to present Ihab Galal as technical director of the team, that there were no negotiations with Zamalek to dispense with Al-Saeed.
Eid said: “Abdullah Al-Saeed is the team leader and is not for sale to any other club. Our ambition with him is great, and therefore he continues with us, and there is absolutely no room for his departure, whatever the reasons.”
And he continued: “There were no negotiations from near or far with Zamalek for the departure of Al-Saeed or any other player.”
He concluded: “The door is currently closed to the players’ departure in the coming period, due to our desire to build a strong team capable of winning all the tournaments we compete for.”
It is worth noting that Hussein Labib, head of the Zamalek club management committee, previously stated that there are negotiations on the part of his club with Pyramids to include Al-Saeed during the current period.
