The first blind female photographer: I love the media field.. and this is the story of the artist Yahya Al-Fakharani’s photography

Esraa Ismail, the first blind Egyptian photographer, said that she loved the field of media greatly and had long hoped to enter it, especially presenting radio or television programs, but all of them did not help her enroll in the Faculty of Information at Cairo University, and she joined the Faculty of Arts in Alexandria, Department of Information.

Israa Ismail added, in her meeting with the media, Youssef Al-Husseini, on the “Ninth” program broadcast on Channel One on Egyptian TV, that one of the conditions of the media department is that the student be familiar with photography, and it was an obstacle in the beginning for her in the college, follow-up: “I saw an initiative that might challenge.” How did the blind person film on the phone, and the first time I caught the camera and a very modern camera, I wanted to go through the experience very much, and the first time people knew Israa in 2019.”

And she continued: “I photographed one at a party, and then this person downloaded a post on Facebook about me, and then the world turned against me, and people knew me greatly,” noting that she developed herself by obtaining a set of courses in audio and radio commentary.

And she continued: “I love theater and art in general, I knew that there was a play by the artist Yahya Al-Fakhrani, I went to the theater and sat behind Dr. Yahya Al-Fakhrani, and after the conference, I went out to photograph the actors, photographed him and photographed with him and walked.” Which raised his surprise and great admiration for the pictures.
