Alexandria – Mohamed Amer:
Investigations into the death of the little girl “Dunia Said” at the Black Ras amusement park in Alexandria showed that the little girl fell from a game, which led to her death.
The prosecution received the report of the committee formed by the “neighborhood”, which sparked a surprise, which was that the nightclubs are run without a license and do not follow any requirements for occupational safety.
The report of the Civil Protection Department confirmed that the facility was not registered with them from the ground up because it did not obtain any licenses, while the report of the Technical Committee confirmed that the amusement park equipment and games are dilapidated and not suitable for use.
The Montazah Police Department was the first to report from a private hospital that the 12-year-old girl, Donia Saeed, had died, with injuries and fractures throughout the body.
The department’s investigation officers moved to the aforementioned hospital, and investigations revealed that the girl was on a picnic with her family in amusement parks in the Ras al-Aswad area, and fell from a game, which led to her death.
By asking the girl’s family, they confirmed that while she was in the amusement park referred to, she asked to ride the “hurricane game”, and because the chairs are dilapidated and there is no safety system, they tied her leg to a “rope” in the chair – they said.
The family added that as the game rotated in the air, “Dunia” fell from a height of 10 meters and the iron parts of the game hit her head, causing her to breathe before she reached the hospital.
A report was drawn up on the incident at Al-Montazah Police Department, and the Public Prosecution launched an investigation.
