The official page of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) published on the social networking site Twitter, a picture that includes both Essam El-Hadry, coach of Egypt’s goalkeepers, and Wael Gomaa, director of the Egyptian team, to be chosen among the best squad in the 21st century.

The comment on the photo reads as follows: “Any central defender will play alongside Wael Gomaa in the twenty-first century squad that was voted on by the fans.”

And Wael Gomaa, the defender of Al-Ahly and the former national team, was previously appointed director of the national team in the new technical staff led by the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz.

The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Ahmed Mujahid, approved the complete formation of the technical and administrative staff of the first national team, after reviewing the opinion of the new coach, as follows::

Carlos Queiroz as Technical Director.

Diaa El-Sayed, general coach.

Mohamed Shawky, coach.

Essam El-Hadary is a goalkeeper coach.

With the continuation of the medical system led by Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Ela and includes with him:

Ahmed Matar, a physiotherapist.

Mostafa Sedky, a physiotherapist.

Bader Imam Rehabilitation Specialist.

Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud, a massage therapist.

In addition to the medical staff, one of the Portuguese experts will be recruited by the technical director, with an assistant coach and a performance analyst.
