Books – Ali Al-Bahaji:
Amr Adham, a member of the committee in charge of managing Zamalek, confirmed that Christian Gross, the former coach of the team, obtained a ruling from the International Court of Sports for his overdue payments of $700,000, and the amount must be paid within 30 days from September 10.
Adham said in statements to Al-Hayat channel: “There is no dispute with Christian Gross, as he is asking for the rest of his overdue dues. He had several months’ salary and the rewards for winning the Confederation and the Cup, and he has not received them yet.”
He added, “Gross demanded more than once to get his dues, but the club ignored his words, so he went to FIFA to develop the matter and reach the Sports Court.”
And he continued: “The Disciplinary Committee sent a decision informing Zamalek that the club must pay the dues within 30 days from September 10.”
And he added, “We will try to communicate with Gross in order to settle the dues, and we will appeal the decision of the Sports Court.”
He concluded his statements: “Gross’ assistant, we reached a settlement with him, we committed and paid all the amounts and created a kind of credibility with him and his lawyer is the same as Gross’s private lawyer. It is possible that this matter will help us to obtain a settlement to schedule the Swiss coach’s dues.”
