An informed source in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif revealed the details of the announcement of the result of coordinating admission to the faculties of the university in Cairo and the regions.
Yesterday, the Egyptian government portal closed the door for registering the wishes of those who succeeded in the second round of the Al-Azhar secondary certificate, for admission to the colleges of Cairo and the regions, after it opened last Monday.
The source said, in statements to Masrawy, on Friday, that Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, announces the result of coordinating admission to Cairo faculties and regions for the 2021/2022 academic year, next Sunday, or Monday at the latest, at the headquarters of the administrative building of Al-Azhar University, Nasr City.
The source pointed out that there is a decrease in the coordination of faculties from 5:4%, revealing that the university is currently looking at unifying the coordination of admission to the faculties of Cairo and the regions for top faculties, as was done last year.
Muhammad Al-Duwaini, the Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, approved the result of the second round of the secondary certificate in its two departments (scientific – literary), as well as the Al-Azhar institutes of Palestine, for the academic year 2020/2021 AD.
The success rate in the secondary certificate for the scientific section was 49.43%, while the success rate in the literary section was 60.80%, with a general success rate in both sections amounting to 71.78%, out of the total number of 47,916 students who took the exam, while the general success rate for the certificate was Secondary Institutes of Palestine 98.37% of the total number of exam applicants.
