A drone tries to rescue four dogs trapped by lava..Details

A drone company in Spain will attempt to rescue four dogs trapped by lava spewing from a volcano on the island of La Palma, according to a digital trend report.

Volcanic gas and ash mean it’s extremely dangerous for a helicopter to go in, so Aerocamaras will try to rescue the animals with a drone. Rescue efforts should include one dog at a time.

The plan is to land the drone close to the dogs and then lure them into a net carried by a remotely operated helicopter. Once the dog is in the net, the drone will take off and fly the animal 1,500 feet (450 metres) from the lava to safety, before returning to complete the operation. Rescue.

“Our pilots are conducting tests with emergency teams at this time,” Aerocameras said in a tweet on Tuesday, October 19, adding: “Due to the complexity of the operation, we need to calm down and focus.

Jaime Pereira, CEO of Aerocamaras, told Reuters his main concern was that the drone might run out of battery in flight, explaining that they only have four minutes to get each dog into the net. He added that the mission’s success “really depends on action.” [الكلاب]”.

Pereira said the effort would mark the first time an animal had been rescued by a drone after its capture, adding, “If this is the dogs’ last option, we will hunt them down.”

Aerocamaras has now obtained the necessary permits to fly the drone into the rescue zone and is expected to proceed with its plan in the coming days.

Drones have long been promoted as the perfect solution for search and rescue operations, whether to assess a disaster site or to transport people in need, the machine is particularly useful in situations where it would be too dangerous for humans to attend the rescue in person, as in the case of La Palma dogs.

The eruption began on the small island of La Palma, 850 miles southwest of the Spanish mainland, yesterday and forced about 7,000 of its 85,000 residents from their homes. No casualties were reported so far.
